摘要

Abstract

A new method for determination of trace arsenic by spectrophotometry in sulphuric acid medium has been presented.In the medium,arsenic is reduced to arsenic hydride by Zn(zinc).Arsenic hydride is absorbed by silver nitrate-polyvinylol-ethanol solution.The method is convenient for operation and has a high sensitivity.The relation of absorbance with arsenic concentration in range of 0~1 mg/L obeys Beer's Law.The apparent molar absorbance coefficient(ε400nm) is 6.1×104 L*cm-1mol-1.The relative standard deviations are 2.3%~9.5%.It has been used to determine arsenic concentration in samples of water,chinese traditional medicine,gold ore and so on.Good results have been obtained.
