摘要

Abstract

[Objective] The aim was to discuss the histological structure of pituitary in Siniperca kneri. [Method] With S. kneri as tested material, the histology and histochemistry of its pituitary were studied by microscope observation. [Result] The pituitary of S. kneri was composed of neurohypophysis and adenohypophysis. The adenohypophysis divided into rostral pars distalis, proximal pars distalis and pars intermedia. The neurohypophysis was extremely developed, especially in the posterior neurohypophysis, which occupied the majority of the posterior pituitary. The adenohypophysis could distinguish 7 kinds of secretory cell types, namely, prolactin cells and adrenocorticotropic hormone cells in rostral pars distalis, growth hormone cells, gonadotropin cells and thyrotropin cells in proximal pars distalis, and melanocyte stimulating hormone cells and PAS positive cells in pars intermedia. Microvessel was very developed in ventral region of posterior pars intermedia. [Conclusion] The research provided the scientific basis for further making clear the propagation mechanism of S. kneri.
