ADVANCEMENT OF RESERVOIR MODELING METHODS

Abstract
The reservoir modeling is a new technique developed in recent years. Quantitative reservoir characterization can be realized, and heterogeneities in different scales can be characterized by reservoir modeling. This paper introduces the progress of the reservoir modeling methods. A few commonly used modeling methods for reservoir modding techniques are summarized. The principles of deterministic modeling methods and stochastic modleling methods are presented. It is pointed out that stochastic modeling is increasingly becoming a significant trend in reservoir modeling technique. These methods have some limits in the application to the construcfion of reservoir models.关键词
