Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relationship between the expression of cyclinD1 and p16 and the occurrence and development of endometrial carcinoma.Methods:UsingSP immunohistochemistry method,the expression of cyclinD1 and p16 in the specimens of 50 cases with endometrial carcinoma,22 cases with atypical hyperplasia and10 cases with normal endometrium were examined.Results: The positive immunostaining rate of cyclinD1 in cases with endometrial carcinoma,atypicalhyperplasia and normal endometrium were 40.00%,22.73% and 0 respectively,therewas significant difference between carcinoma and normal endometrium(P＜0.05).The positive immunostaining rate of p16 in endometrial carcinomas wassignificantly lower than that in normal endometriums.In the 50 cases of endometrial carcinoma,the expression of cyclinD1 in moderately-poorly differentiated(G2-G3) and stage Ⅱ～Ⅲ cases was significantly higher than that in well differentiated (G1) and stage Ⅰ cases,and the expression of cyclinD1 in relapsecases was also significantly higher than that in relapse-free cases.The expression of p16 correlated with histological grade,clinical stage and patient's prognosis(P＜0.05).Those cases with negative expression of p16 had poorerdifferentiation,more advanced stage and higher rate of relapse.There was an inverse relationship between cyclinD1 and p16 expressions,and coabnormal expressionof these two genes was associated with more aggressive behaviour of endometrialcarcinoma. Conclusions:cyclinD1 and p16 are closely related to the occurrence and development of endometrial carcinoma,and the aberrant expression of these two genes may act as a predicator of higher rate of recurrence and bad prognoses of endometral carcinoma patients.关键词
