摘要

Abstract

The component of electrode crating has certain effects on the usability of stainless steel electrode. About a hundred kinds of electrodes are tested, and a new component of electrode is developed. The results of test show that the ratio of carbonate to fluoride has some effects on the stability of arc, spatter and weld appearance. The ratio of TiO2 to aluminosilicate should be controlled more than 3.5:1 to assure detachability. Powerful deoxidizers, such as silicon and titanium, can improve the detachability of electrode obviously. The thicker the coating of electrode is, the smaller the spatter will be, and the better the detachability is, too.
