Abstract
Objective:To develop the ways and methods of health education for medical high occupational students, to e-valuate the results of health education on AIDS (Acquired Immure Deficiency Syndrome). Through the health education, the students had obtained consciousness and ability to prevent AIDS. Methods: Quasi-experimental study was adopted. The objects included 981 medical college students of a college in ZIBO city of Shandong province.Having a series of ac-tivities of health education on AIDS, including special academic lectures, speech contests, knowledge contests, and social public education. To check the students in a college how well to master the knowledge about preventing AIDS, t tests of group and χ2 tests were taken to do statistics analysis. Results:Before health education, the students had already learnt some knowledge to prevent AIDS to a certain extent. As a result, the average score was 75.9. After the health education, the examination score further increased to 84.2. The difference had very significant statistics meaning (t'=-18.581 6, P< 0.01). After the intervention,the rate of AIDS KAP (Knowledge,Attitude,Practice) increased by 11% and the students showed more sympathy to AIDS patients. The difference had very significant statistics meaning(χ2=2004.17, P<0.01).Con-clusion:The health education study has obtained good results. There are actual and farsighted meaning to the student's ego health care and group prevention of AIDS.关键词
