Selective Nitration of Toluene with Nitric Acid on the Cross-linked Pillared Bentonite Catalysts
摘要
Abstract
Para-selectivities oi toluene nitrations were enhanced by using nitric acid as nitrating agent in the presence of cross-linked pillared bentonite catalysts.Ortho-to-para ratios were greatly below 1.67 as compared with sulfonitric acid.Of a range of NH+4、H+、La3+ modified aluminium cross-linked bentonites,La3+ modiried bentonite appears to be the optimum catalytic selectivity and reactivity,up to 0.75 in a ratio of ortho and para nitrotoluene.关键词
