Abstract
Facing the change of our era characteistics represented by new economy，it is pointed out：the irreplaceable historical effect and position of China manuf acturing，the irreplaceable each other between "industrialization" and "inform ationization"．Facing the challenges of economy globalization and entering WTO，the strategic idea for developing China manufacturing are adviced．For building China as a glo bal supply new base in the 21st century，there is anenormous historical chance for West China．关键词
