摘要

Abstract

A discrete dynamic model for power market is established firstly, and then a linear model is obtained by Taylor expansion on the small-signal condition. Based on the theory of a generalized system, the definition and criterion for the small-signal stability of power market are derived. At last, the conclusion thus come out: if the spectral radius of the coefficient matrix of the obtained linear model is less than 1, a power market is stable; if the spectral radius of the coefficient matrix is equal to 1, a power market is critical stable; if the spectral radius of the coefficient matrix is greater than 1,a power market is unstable. The research on the effect of the congestion to the stability of power markets is also presented. However, it is founded that this sort of problems is very complicated and needs further study.
