Abstract
AIM:To investigate the correlation between the polymorphism of four candidate genes involved in dopaminergic neurotransmission- COMT, DBH, DAT, MAOB and the susceptibility of Shanghai Chinese Han population to Parkinson's disease(PD).METHODS: Genetic polymorthism of COMT, DBH, DAT and MAOB were investigated by PCR/RFLP in 144 unrelated idiopathic PD and 188 age- matched healthy controls. RESULTS: Compared with controls, the polymorphic distribution in DBH gene intron TaqI polymorphism in PD cases was significant differences . CONCLUSION: The polymorphism in DBH gene might play a role in the susceptibility of Shanghai Chinese Han population. 关键词
