摘要

Abstract

A new and highly sensitive method bas been developed for determination of trace niobium in the presence of a great quantity of tantalum, the amount(10 μL) of sample necessary for the flow injection analysis is used. In 1 mol/L HCl+10 g/L HF medium as exchange solution,a great quantity of Ta is adsorbed on the miniature column with anion exchange resin and trace Nb is removed. The effluent containing Nb mixes and reacts with sulphichlorophenol S in the presence of complexing agents, and then the absorbance of the multicomponent complex is measured at 620 nm and 38℃ after 5 min of stopped-flow. The determination range of Nb2O5 is 0.005~0.05 g/L. The RSD of the method is±6.1%. The recovery of Nb is 90%~110%. The determination speed is about 10 samples per h.
