Abstract

Objective: To research the optimal harvesting time of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. F. alba. Methods: 15 Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. F. alba were excavated per half month with soil and impurities removed. Average dry weight per plant was calculated after root naturally dried. The HPLC was carried out to determine the contents of tanshinone and salvianolic acid B by Wondasil-C18column( 150mm ×4. 6mm,5μm) with wavelength detection of tanshinoneⅡA for 270 run, salvianolic acid B for 286nm. The mobile phase was 74% acetonitrile in seperating tanshinoneⅡA, methanol-acetoni-trile-formic acid-water (30:10:1:59) in seperating salvianolic acid B. The flow rate was 1.0mL·min-1. Results: The re-suits showed that there was the greatest dry weight of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. F. alba .which was collected by the end of October, the contents of tanshinone ⅡA was the highest by the end of October,while the salvianolie acid B contents in the highest by the end of August. Conclusion: It was suitable for harvesting time of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. F. alba by the end of October.
