Abstract

According to the characters and functions of LabVIEW, simulation teaching for LabVIEW digital circuits is put forward. Setting 8-3 encoder, made of 74148 circuits, as the priority encoder, the paper analyzes the application of LabVIEW in teaching of digital circuits. As the result of research findings, the design is completed for the 4-2, 8-3 and 10-4 normal encoders and priority encoders. Programs for all the encoders are gathered on the panel of the main programs, and displayed in the form of digital numbers. Through the simulation verification, it is found out that it functions in the same way as that of the actual electronic components and parts. In this way, the teaching methods become diversified, the teaching quality is improved, and the interest and active participation for learning is strengthened.
