Simultaneous Determination of Five Phenolic Acids from Leaf of llex purpurea by HPLC

Abstract
AIM:To establish a HPLC method for simultaneous determination of five phenolic acid from leaves of Ilex purprea Hassk. METHOD: Chromatography was performed on a 5 μm HP-Hyspersil BDS-C1s column (250 mm x 4 mm). The mobile phase was acetonitrile-water(acidifled by 85% formic acid), and the five phenolic acids were eluted with a linear gradient program. DAD detector was used and signals were recorded at 260 nm and 330 nm. RESULT: Complete resolution of the five phenolic acids was obtained within 30 min. The method fulfills the requirements of precision, accuracy and stability. The recoveries of the five compounds were between 95% and 105%. CONGLUSION:This method is simple and effective, and can be used to determine phenolic acids from leaf of Ilex purprea Hassk.关键词
