摘要
Abstract
Objective To study the infiltration of dendritic cells(DC) in epithelial ovarian cancer. Methods Quantitative assessment of interstitial dendritic cells was performed by S-P immunohistochemical method in specimens of maligmant epithelial ovarian tumor (n=48),benign epithelial ovarian tumor(n=30),and normal ovarian tissue(n=30). Results The number of DC in maligmant epithelial ovarian tumor increased significantly as compared with benign epithelial tumor and normal ovarian tissue(P＜0.01).The DC number in maligmant epithelial ovarian tumor was not correlated with histologic types and differentiation grades, but was correlated with lymphocyte infiltration and survival rate. Conclusion DC may play a role in the host immune reaction against tumor and the number of DC in situ can serve as a useful indicator in assessing prognosis.关键词
