摘要

Abstract

Objective:To determine the change of blood glucose and blood lactic acid in children with pneumonia accompanying systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS).Methods:Patients with pneumonia were divided into two groups:SIRS group (S group) and non-SIRS control group (NS group).Healthy children were for normal control (N group).Blood glucose,lactic acid,PaCO2 and PaO2 were evaluated in all the children.Results:About 58.5% of the children with pneumonia had accompanying SIRS.The blood glucose and lactic acid in S group were significantly increased than in the control groups (P<0.01 or P< 0.05).However,blood gas analysis showed no significant difference between S group and NS group.Conclusions:The high-metabolic parameters (blood glucose,blood lactic acid,etc) were significantly increased in children with SIRS accompanying pneumonia.
