摘要
Abstract
Thymus-derived CD4+CD25+ T-regulatory cells (Tregs) play an important role in the mechanisms of peripheral immune tolerance. CD25 molecule at high level of expression is the most widely employed marker of Tregs. Foxp3 is currently the most specific marker for CD4+ Tregs. Seeking for proper cell surface markers would be the crucial step for further investigation of Tregs. Recent studies have shown a significant defect in Treg cell number and/or function in active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), which may provide new ways for the treatment of this devastating disorder.关键词
