摘要

Abstract

The novel green phoshpor Sr2 GeO4: Tb3+ was prepared by the traditional solid state reaction. The novel phosphor presents excellent luminescence properties excitated at 242 and 150 nm. The luminescence properties were investigated in details. The bright green emission at 542 under UV excitation was attributed to the 3D4→4D5 transition. When it was excitated at 150 nm the phosphor shows bright green at 550 nm. The promising luminescence properties made it a potential candidate for application in PDPs.
