摘要

Abstract

Seismic responses to vertically oriented fracture models made of different material and under different temperature and various atmospheric pressure conditions were measured using MTS (a rock Mechanics Test System). From comparison and analysis of those seismic responses we find that many seismic characteristic parameters such as seismic velocity, amplitude, attenuation, spectrum etc. can be used to detect the fracture system, but the effect of vertically fracture system on seismic amplitude is much more effective than that on seismic velocity. Therefore, seismic amplitude as well as attenuation characteristic attribute may be much better than velocity one for the detection of the fracture system.
