New Progress in Galactic Metallicity and its Evolution
摘要
Abstract
The average values of metallicity in the disk, the halo, andGalactic bulge are -0.2, -1.6, and -0.2 dex respectively. Theage-metallicity relation (AMR) provides useful clues about theGalactic formation and evolution. In order to explain observedAMR and its scatter, mechanisms of diffusion of stellar orbitsand non-instantaneous mixing must be considered in Galacticchemical evolution models.关键词
