Feedback Control for Chaotic Envelope of High-current Beam Via Back-stepping Design

Abstract
Using the Lyapunov theory, a nonlinear feedback control method via back-stepping design for controlling the chaotic envelope of periodical focusing high-current ion beams with K-V distribution is studied. The nonlinear feedback controller is presented. The simulation results demonstrated that the chaotic envelope could be well controlled by this method, and the radius of envelope converged to the matched radius. This method offers a reference for controlling the beam halo-chaos for high intensity ion beam in period-focusing channel with multi-partich model.关键词
