摘要
Abstract
Aim To research the radiation response of the pituitary to the single dose irradiation.Method The porcine hypophysis was irradiated by 5,10,15 and 20 Gy single doses respectively.40 weeks after irradiation,all animals were exsanguinated and killed for pathologically examining the pituitary and the pituitary target organs.Results The percentage and the restorative degree of secretive function of the Leydig cell were lower in the irradiated groups than that in the control group,and they showed a negative correlation with the dose.The thyroid tissue showed obvious hyperplasia after the 10 Gy irradiation,but degeneration in the 15 and 20 Gy groups.No obvious changes were found about the adrenal tissue and pituitary under the light microscope after irradiation.Conclusion The pituitary is well - tolerant to the single 20 Gy irradiation,but it's hormone - producing cells and has the different radiative sensitivity. 关键词
