Immunoregulatory Function of Mesenchymal Stem Cells
摘要
Abstract
Mesenchymal stem cells(MSC) interact with hematopoietic stem cells and support their growth and differentiation in the bone marrow.MSCs,which can differentiate into multiple mesenchymal and non-mesenchymal lineages,provide a promising tool for tissue repairs.In addition,MSCs suppress many functions of T,B,NK cells and probably affect dendritic cell(DC) activities,which is vital in autoimmune disorders and immune escape of tumor cells.More recently,many studies have demonstrated that MSCs affect the function of different immunocompetent cell types,providing support for their pioneering utilization in acute graft-versus-host disease(aGVHD) and rationale for their possible use in the treatment of autoimmune disorders.关键词
