Abstract
The real-time cooperative design is one of the key techniques in network-based CAD. The application of CSCW in CAD in engineering is limited within the bandwidth of network and real-time display. This paper presents a model for real-time cooperation of CAD in engineering over network. First, the function of long-distance calling and mutual speech is realized by existing software. Then a trigger is designed with the function of event-driven synchronization(an operation for the trigger to cause relative events happen after a certain event or events happen) and timing-sequence synchronization(an operation to cause a series of events to be regularly and continuously performed). Finally, the trigger is used to implement the real-time synchronization of mutual AutoCAD information through two ways: plug-in share and neutral files. Experiments show that our model is effective.关键词
