Abstract
Objective: To report the clinical results of percutaneous computed tomography guided biopsy of the spine. Methods: The samples of 32 cases percutaneous computed tomography guided biopsy of the spine were analyzed. There were 2 cervical, 9 thoracic, 16 lumbar and 5 sacral lesions used as biopsy sites among them. Results: The pathologic examinations revealed 9 primary neoplasm and 23metastasis of the spine. Diagnostic accuracy rate was obtained in 100%. No significant complications occurred and results were obtained satisfactory. Conclusion: Percumneous computed tomography guided biopsy of the spine might be an important tool in the diagnosis of the spine lesions and be considered as a safe, accurate and less traumatic examination method.关键词
