Abstract
In most cases, high tube-shape structures are built among buildings and there are many people living nearby.The surroundings of these structures are very complicated and the areas needed for the demolition of the structures are greatly limited. To solve the problem of the demolition of the structures using control blasting under these conditions, the authors present a new method named folding control blasting to demolish the tube-shaped structure. By mechanical analysis, the authors give collapsing mechanism of the tube-shaped structures and the calculation method of all the blasting parameters such as the demolishing length, the height, the form and the time delay. Two folding control blasting examples showed that the calculation method is very practical. It will find many applications in the same kind of demolition work.关键词
