摘要
Abstract
Objective: To compare the efficacy of continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion ( CSII) and con-ventional insulin treatment (CIT) in old patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods: Fifty old patients with type 2 diabe-tes were studied by two methods of intensive insulin delivery: ( 1 ) CSⅡ group ( n = 24 ), (2) CIT group ( n = 26) .Results:To reach the same blood glucose level, the average duration of treatment, the insulin dosage and the hypo-glycemia incidence markedly decreased in CSII group (P ＜0.05 or P ＜0.01 ). Conclusion: CSII can imitate the physiological insulin secretion, which can control the hyperglycemia more quickly and effectively and reduce the hy-poglycemia risk.关键词
