摘要

Abstract

Taking cohesionless soil under plane strain condition as anexample, a simple method to determine the angle of the non-coaxiality between directions of the principal strain increment and the principal stress is proposed, and the formula to evaluate the strain increments due to the rotation of principal axes is derived. At last, the applicability of the previous method and the formula is investigated based on the experimental results.
