Abstract
The urban space feature of Shanghai is changing quickly with the opening and reforming policy, and has gained world-famous achievements. Meanwhile, there is some dissatisfaction as well. This paper makes systematic analysis on constructing the characteristic urban feature, from the aspects of establishing perfect urban space structure, strengthening representative landscape connotation, increasing water and green space, constructing remarkable architecture, etc. Then it discusses improving the environment of the avenues, public center, and residential quarter, protecting the urban tradition, perfecting the correlative assuring mechanism. Finally, based on the comments from the domestic and abroad specialists, the advanced urban development examples and theories, the author brings forward several specific suggestions on Shanghai.关键词
