Biology of Laticifers in Hevea and Latex Production
摘要
Abstract
In this minireview, the three critical factors that limit the rubber production are dealt with: duration of latex flow after tapping, latex regeneration between two tappings and laticifer production from vascular cambium. It is shown that for rubber tree itself the laticifer might act as a protective tissue associated with mechanical wounding and its formation and function would be highly regulated by wound signals including ethylene and jasmonates.关键词
