Abstract
Objective To observe the stability and the fus ion rate of the cer vical interbody fusion with Inter Fix after anterior decompression. Meth ods Twe nty-seven patients with cervical spondylosis or disc herniation were stabilized using Inter Fix technique after anterior decompression. X-ray films were taken after operation to observe the stability and fusion of the segments. Re sults T he patients were allowed to mobilize next day after operation and followed up fr om 7～19 months. The operated segments were stable and solid fusion was observed in 3～4 months after operation. Conclusion The immediate stabi lity of the oper ated segments can be obtained by using Inter Fix. The Inter Fix technique elimin ates the complications of autograft. It may be an alternative method for cervica l interbody fusion after anterior decompression.关键词
