The multiset Mahonian statistics
摘要
Abstract
Let M={xa11,…,xamm} be a multiset of cardinality n=a1+a2+…+am, and S(M) denote the set of all permutations of M. In the paper, two combinatorial interpretations of the power qinv(π) are given, where π∈S(M), and inv (π) is the inversion number of π. It means that the famous combinatorial identity has a direct combinatorial proof.关键词
