摘要
Abstract
In this paper, a finite difference method is used to simulate characteristics of the vsicous flow around a circular cylinder near a plane wall. We use the equations in the form of the stream-function and vorticity. The vorticity transport equation is solved by the ADI method and the stream-functions are solved by the SOR iteration method. Elliptic partial differential equations are used to generate a smooth body-fitted grid numerically. We investigated the wake flow evolution due to the presence of the palne wall and the gap between the plane wall and the cylinder. We have computed the Reynolds number and the gap-to-diameter is 4.0,3.0 and 2.0.The computation results are in close agreed with the experiments'results.关键词
