Abstract
In this paper, a practical synthetic method has been reported forthe synthesis of S(-)-3-(4-phenyl-1-piperazinyl)-1,2-propanediol (Levodropopizine): the reaction of aniline with bis-(2-hydroxyethyl) amine in the catalysis of hydrochloric acid gives 1-phenylpiperazine which further reacted with 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol to give 3-(4-phenyl-1-piperazinyl)-1,2-propanediol. Through resolution with tartaric acid, the optic pure S-isomer was got. This route has the advantages of available starting materials, easy operation, and low cost.关键词
