Abstract

Recent status of experimental and theoretical investigations of K+-nucleus scattering is briefly reviewed. We compute the contribution of the unconventional mechanism in K+-nucleus interaction by connecting the in-medium K+-nucleon interaction with the in-medium quark condensate. The results show that the nuclear density-dependence of the in-medium quark condensate may account for the unconventional medium effects in K+-nucleus scattering.
