A STUDY ON LAUNCHING GEOSTATIONARY SATELLITE AT HIGH LATITUDE BY TAKENADVANTAGE OF THE MOON'S GRAVITATION
摘要
Abstract
A method of make use of Lunar Gravitation (LG) to launchGeostationary Satellite (GS) at high latitude is presented. At first,preliminary analysis of the problem of launching GS is given usingpatched-conic technique. Then, precise analysis is given in amathematical model. It is indicated that less energy is needed to launchGS from launch site with latitude higher than 28 using LG methodthan the traditional. The higher the launching site is, the moreenergy is saved.关键词
