The Distribution of Poles in the Contour Integral Evaluation of the Wavefield Within a Fluid-filled Borehole
摘要
Abstract
The complex poles on four major Riemann sheets involved in the integral representation of the wavefield in a fluid-filled borehole are investigated in detail. An integral representation for the wavefield in a borehole is given, and the total compressional potential function in the borehole is expressed by an alternative approach through applying contour integration in the complex wave number plane based on the Cauchy's theorem. The location of poles on four major Riemann sheets is calculated. The contributions of these poles will be discussed in the next paper.关键词
