Abstract
Objective: To investigate the role nm23 gene expression in human squamous cell lung cancer. Methods: By using northern blot analysis with sequence specific oligonuclectide probe, we measured nm23 mRNA levels in cancer tissues, adjacent tissues and non- cancerous lung tissues form 17 patients with squarnous cell lung cancer. Results:The expression of nm23 gene in cancer tissues was significantly higher than expression in adjacent tissues and in non-cancerous tang cancer, and the expression of nm23 gene was also significanly higher in cancer tissues form the patients with regional lymph node metastasis than without regional lymph node metastasis. In addition. the nm23 gene was rnore highly expressed in poorly differentiated cancer tissues than in moderately- highly differentianted cacner tissuesConclusions:The high expresion of nm23 gene is orrelated with the lymphatic metastasis and the degree of differentiation of squamous cell lung cancer.关键词
