A method detecting pathogenic Vibrio anguillarum and its virulent metalloprotease is reported in this paper. The metalloprotease is isolated from extracellular product (ECP) of V.anguillarum by the cellophane plate technique and purified by gel filtration and ion-exchange chromatography.
