Study of the Relationship between nm23 Gene Expression andGastric Cancer Biological Behavior

Abstract
Objective To determine and analyse the expression of nm23 gene intissues of gastric cancer and to evaluate it relation to the gastric cancer biological behavior.Methods The levels of nm23 gene and PCNA protein expresion were observed in 80 cases of gastric cancer using immunohistochemical techniqwe.Results The positive rate of nm23 gene expression was 60% in 80 cases of gastric cancer. No difference was observed between primary tumor lessions and metastasis tissue.The expression rate of nm23 protein was closely correlated to tumor differentiation and lymph mode metastasis (P<0.05).Also there is a negative correlation between nm23 and PCNA expreession.Conclusion nm23 protein detection could provide a molecular biological basis for the evaluation of patient's prognosis in gastric cancer.关键词
