摘要

Abstract

Aim To explore the mechanism of acupuncture promoting regeneration of peripheral nerve by observing the effect of acupuncture on facial nerve regeneration neurotrophic factor.Methods 180 Newzeland rabbits with the same age and weighed 1.8- 2.8 kg were selected and underwent venous anesthesia by 30 mg/L sodium pentobarbital.Upper bucal branch of facial nerve was separated,exposed and cut under operating magnifying glass.The ends were inlaid into silica gel tube to form regeneration room.After operation,rats were divided by randomly according to body mass and sex into acupuncture group and control group with 90 rats in each group.In each group,90 rabbits were also divided into 3 subgroups randomly with 30 rabbits in each and underwent 125I-BDNF,125I-NT-3 or 125I-NT-4 regeneration intraventrical injection,10 μ l/rabbit.The rabbits in acupuncture group received treatments at 2 and 26 h respectively while rabbits in control received no treatment.At 4,8,24,48 h,brain stems containing nucleus of facial nerve were taken and examined.Results γ counts of 125I-BDNF,125I-NT-3 or 125I-NT-4 in control group got to climax at 12,24 and were [( 1413± 1) ,( 1348± 4) ], [1352± 3) ,( 1286± 3)] [(806± 2),(1137± 2)] respectively,but decreased at 48h and were (594± 1),(624± 2),(354± 2).Fluctuation was obvious.While in acupuncture group,γ counts of 125I-BDNF,125I-NT-3 or 125I-NT-4 were kept a higher level at each time point.Conclusion Acupuncture can promote facial nerve retrograde axis-cylinder transport nurotrophic factor.
