Software Implementation of High Resolution Digital Potentiometer
摘要
Abstract
The accuracy of digital potentiometer is improved by connecting four 64-tap position digital potentiometers in serial or parallel controlled by a special software . Two potentiometers are cascaded and the remaining two are used to set the levels of center taps of the two independent digital potentiometers, which should always be one position apart. MCU controlls the wipers of potentiometers according to spectific algorithm. Experimental results show that an 8 001-tap position nonvolatile digital potentiometers can easily be implemented,and exhibit a typical tap-to-tap resolution of 0.008%.关键词
