摘要

Abstract

After analyzing typical operation conditions of ethylene crackingtubes, a finite element calculation model under interactions of temperature, intern al pressure, carburization and creep is founded. Stress distribution and creep damage distribution are simulated for cracking tubes made from HK40 steel at 1 17 3 K. The calculated results show that carburization is the main cause of the failure of tubes. As for the way and location of the failure of tubes and the life of tubes, the calculated results are in good agreement with the actual results.
