Abstract
[Objective] To study the affect of protein kinase C (PKC) activity and protein kinase A (PKA) activi ty in the progress of the thyroid cancer proliferation. [Methods] In this study, we used the radiometric method of enzyme assay (RMEA) to detect PKC and PKA activities in both malignant and benign tissues of thyroid respectively. [Results] In thyroid cancer tissues, PKC activities of both membrane part and cyclosic part were (7.280±2.380)and (7.397±4.065) respectively, and PKA activity was (1.716-±0.923). In the benign thyroid tumor tissues, PKC activities of both membrane part and cyclosic part were (0.515±0.676) and (0.347±0.332) respectively, and PKA activity was (0.646±0.324). The ratios of PKC activity of cyclosic part to PKA activity was 4.3 in the malignant thyroid cancer, and 0.53 in the benign thyroid tumor tissues. [Conclusions] Both PKC and PKA took part in the intracellular signal transduction in the proliferation progress of thyroid cancer cell.关键词
