Abstract
Objective To reviewuate the effect of using the EBFP and the bone viscose for the treatment of the comminuted fractures of diaphysis of the long bones.Methods 35 cases of comminuted fractures were treated by open reduction,the bone fragments were fixed together with the use bone viscose and the bone fragments were fixed with EBFP.Results The period of follow-up was 1～2 years,35 cases with 38 limbs diaphysis commuted fractures were healed in three months with well restored function,and without refracture or loosening of the EBFP.Conclusion EBFP has the advantages of fixation without the drilling holes,no screws are used,the fixation is firm giving no trauma of intramedullary blood vessels and endosteum.The bone viscose clings firmly and has the effect of arresting bleeding and protecting wounds.The combined application of bone viscose and EBFP can shorten the operation time.This method is not suitable for the fracture of irregular bones such as flat bones,metaphysis of long etc.The removal of this kind of plate is more difficult than that of the commonly used plate.关键词
