The Elastic Collision Mechanism of Brownian Motion Leads to the Lagevin Equation
摘要
Abstract
The elastic collision mechanism of Brownian motion is studied,and the equipartition of kinetic energy of Brownian particle has been proved. The author shows how the collision between a Brownian particle and its surrounding molecules lead to the Lagevin equation, and gives us the subtle explanation of damping and stochastic forces.关键词
