Abstract
Antimony penta（iso-octyl thioglycollate）was synthesized from antimony pentoxide colloid with addition of 2％～3％ of triethanolamine as stabilizer，and iso-octyl thioglycollate at stoichiometric ratio，with xylene as solvent for about 2 h．The pH value of the reaction system was controlled at 6.7. The yield of antimony penta（iso-octyl thioglycollate）was 92％．IR analysis was performed．The thermal stability of the PVC stabilized with this product and its synergism with calcium stearate were investigated and compared with that stabilized with antimony tri（iso-octyl thioglycollate）．关键词
