Study on Boundary Layer Drag Reduction of Non-newtonian Fluids
摘要
Abstract
Laminar boundary layer flow of four constants Maxwell-oldroyd fluid is investigated. The velocity distribution in boundary layer, the thickness of the boundary layer are shown. The relation between friction factor, Reynolds number,the material functions of Non-newtonian fluids is given. For the laminar flow of Non-newtonian fluids some drag reduction, like turbulent flow, has been found.关键词
