Abstract
Bio-briquette is a new kind of coal briquettes made up of coal, biomass and sulphur retention agent. Bio-briquette technology combines irrenewable fossil energy and renewable biomass, embodying both functions of synthetic utilization of energy and reduction of air po-llution. In this paper, the current development of bio-briquette technology in and abroad is introduced and the production crafts, compressive strength, firing (burning) performance, combustion mechanism and sulphur retention characteristics of bio-briquette are analyzed. What′s more, the necessity for development of bio-briquette technology and some problems of industrialization in China are expatiated. At the end of this paper, the prospect and orientation of bio-briquette technology are discussed.关键词
