摘要

Abstract

When wind farms are connected directly to a distribution grid, it is important to assess how much the steady-state security will be affected by the uneven power production from the wind farms. In this paper a power flow analysis including the wind farm is presented. Based on the steady-state model of induction generator and the power characteristics of wind turbines, a method for three-phase distribution power flow calculation is developed,considering wind turbine with directly grid-connected induction generators, which are currently the most widely used in wind turbines applications. The algorithm has been tested on the IEEE 34-bus radial distribution test feeder and the results are presented for illustrative purposes.
